GOLD DIVISION: Noon - (5) Bayonne vs. (4) Livingston; winner meets (1) St. Joes; (3) St. Peters vs. (6) Don Bosco; winner meets (2) East Brunswick. Final follows.

SILVER DIVISION: Noon - (1) South Brunswick vs. (8) Passaic Valley; (5) Vernon vs. (4) Lakeland; (3) Bloomfield vs. (6) St. Joes 2; (7) CBA vs. (2) Old Bridge. Semis and Final follow quarterfinals.

Please note: playoff seeding is based on performance within the divisions (A, B, C, D and E) along with seeding matches (D and E divisions), so record doesn't completely reflect where a team was seeded.

Standings and schedule are updated. FINAL WEEK OF REGULAR SEASON IS HERE, EVERYONE IS PLAYING FOR POSITION IN PLAYOFFS! A and B pools play at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. this week, C (Vernon, Bloomfield, St. Joes 2 and Lakeland) play at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., and D and E play at 3 and 4 p.m.

10/16 NOTICES

Standings and schedule are updated. REMEMBER, A, B and C Teams play at 1 p.m. this week. Please be on time, there is a changeover in divisions which must be computed between the 1 and 2 p.m. matches.

PLAYOFF BREAKDOWN: The top six teams will go into the Gold Division (Teams 1 and 2 will have byes for the first round). The next eight teams will go into Silver Division, and the final eight teams go into Bronze Division. Each Division winner will receive league-winner t-shirts.

10/9/07 REMINDERS

Standings and schedule are updated - PLEASE NOTE, SOME TEAM'S BASE TIMES HAVE CHANGED! Check 10/14 schedule carefully. A Division plays at 1 and 2 p.m. B and C Divisions at 5 and 6 p.m. this week.

ON 10/21, ALL A, B AND C TEAMS PLAY AT 1 and 2 p.m. (That will be the final regular-season Division switch (between the matches that end at 2 and the matches that start at 2).

The schedule splits this coming Sunday (10/7) A Pool teams - St. Joes 1, East Brunswick, South Brunswick and Don Bosco all play at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. B and C pool teams - Vernon, Lakeland, Hillsborough, Bloomfield, Old Bridge, St. Peter's, Bayonne, and CBA 1, play at 5 and 6 p.m. D and E pool teams (St. Joes 2 and 3, Old Bridge JV, Passaic Valley, Mt. Olive, Fred's team, CBA JV, Livingston 1 and 2, and J.P. Stevens) play at 3 and 4 p.m.

After this week's games, all pools will shuffle again, so times for games may shift for 10/14.

9/26/07 REMINDERS!

Please bring your final payments and parent permission forms this week if you have not turned them in yet.

All teams in the 1 and 2 p.m. time slots should arrive at 12:30 to warm up (and turn in paperwork if it's needed). There is a changeover in the divisions that takes place between the 1 and 2 p.m. matches which requires some calculations, so we have to start on time to keep everything on schedule.

IMPORTANT!

Starting with 10/7 matches, the A, B, and C Divisions will play at 5 and 6 p.m.

The results for the first week of matches have been posted. There are also a few schedule/team changes to note. Bayonne switched brackets and schedules with Passaic Valley and Fred's Group replaced Bridgewater.

Welcome to the second PZ Fall High School Boys League. The league has grown almost tripled since our first league last Fall, which had 8 teams.

The teams that played in our two previous leagues (Fall and Winter) enjoyed great success in the 2007 high school season. All but one qualified for the state playoffs, and the teams that qualified compiled a 13-1 record against teams that didn't play in the league during the state playoffs. League teams East Brunswick and St. Peter's won state sectional titles, and East Brunswick won the overall state title.

Reminders

PLEASE BRING PAYMENT THIS WEEK IF YOUR TEAMS HAVEN'T PAID IN ADVANCE.

TEAMS MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE THE START OF THE SECOND WEEK.

1. Arrive 15 minutes early to warm up. Matches should start at the designated times.

2. Bring balls for warmup, we provide 1 Game Ball for play on each court.

3. All matches will be 3 games to 25 - Third game should always be played.

4. Matches must start on time, game forfeits (one every 15 minutes) will be assessed by the league director for a team arriving more than 5 minutes late. No warmup will be allowed for teams that arrive late.

5. One-hour time limit for each match, if there is less then 20 minutes for the final game it will be played to 15.

6. A Chaparone/coach (teams do not need a coach in order to play) must be present in the gym at all times.
