Coach-Toss Clinic

Fall Season (Mid September - Mid February)

Age Group: Grades 2 - 4

Look at them go! Imagine your child learning and laughing along with friends as they are taught how to play volleyball! Soon they are understanding the techniques and are really hitting the ball well. With our Coach-Toss Clinic every child, ages 7-9, has the opportunity to learn the basics of volleyball and further develop their skills. This safe and challenging adventure uses special equipment to ensure safety and a good time. So join our coaches in watching your young one grow into a volleyball champ!

  • On-site coach teaches the children how to play volleyball while keeping it fun and engaging
  • Modified equipment, drills, and techniques make learning easy and very safe
  • Using a "tee," the children can learn how to properly serve and spike a volleyball
  • 1 class per week for a 6 week period (each class is 1 hour long)
  • $85 for 6 weeks (non-member)
  • $75 for 6 weeks (member)

What It's All About:

Through the Coach-Toss Clinic, children, grades 2 - 4, will be able to learn the fundamentals of volleyball in a safe and friendly environment. A coach, along with modified equipment and a "tee," will help the children develop their skills while having fun and making friends. Safety is very important and will be maintained through different techniques taught, and special equipment used. This program is offered once a week for a 6 week period.

Tee-Volley Clinic

Fall Season (Mid September - Mid February)

Age Group: Grades Preschool - 1

Remember how fun tee-ball was? The excitement of learning how to play a new sport while mom and dad watched from the sidelines, cheering you on. It was all about the fun of it, all while developing the skills needed to move up in the sport. Introducing Tee-Volley; this twist on tee-ball allows youth, ages 4-6, to experience volleyball for the first time. Your child will learn the basics of volleyball in a safe and fun environment. Bring your child in to explore the wonders of volleyball! Watch as their smile widens, and new friendships are grown.

  • Smaller net and court for easier use
  • Lighter ball used to avoid injury and help the children have fun
  • "Tee" used to help children learn how to serve and spike at a young age
  • On-site coach personally teaches the children volleyball skills
  • Offered for 1 hour per week for 6 weeks
  • $85 for 6 weeks (non-members)
  • $75 for 6 weeks (members)

What It's All About:

In Tee-Volley Clinic, young children, grades preschool - 1, attend a once a week lesson for an hour to learn simple volleyball skills. Safety is kept by using a smaller net, smaller court, and a lighter ball. A coach will help the children learn how to serve and spike by using a "tee" to hit off of. There are 6 lessons in total with one happening each week.

Me and Mini Me Volleyball and Fitness

Age Group: Grades Preschool - 1 (And Parents)

Seeing a smile on your child's face is everything. Being able to experience that smile with them and alongside them is even more. Here at PowerZone Volleyball Center, you can join in your child's first volleyball experience with our Me and Mini Me class! This parent and child class puts you right next to your child as you bond together and grow as volleyball players. So bring your little one to Powerzone and join them in creating their very first volleyball memory! The smiles are endless and the bond is everlasting.

What It's All About:

A group environment is used to teach both a parent and their child beginner techniques of volleyball. The parent will be alongside their child, watching them grow and develop into a volleyball player. A PowerZone coach will work with the groups of parents and children to ensure safety and fun. Get some exercise with your little one as you run, skip, and jump around with other parents and their children!
